MELT was created by manual therapist, neuromuscular therapist and founding member of the Fascial Congress, Sue Hitzmann. Hitzmann, who is also a NY Times bestselling author, created the MELT Method as a way to give simple but effective homework to her patients, so that the work she was doing on their bodies would last between sessions. It is now a respected protocol taught by movement teachers, physical therapists and physicians all over the world.
